This vibrant pop video was filmed in 1985 in a disused warehouse, around the King George V Dock area in London, shortly after David Bowie and Mick Jagger were filmed in the docks not far away, Dancing in the Street. Hiding in the shadows was someone who looked to be the spitting image of Pete Townshend, watching out to make sure all was well. It was a great party to be part of . . . and brilliant now to see the end result available on RUclips, nearly 40 years later.

Just that outfit the singer is wearing, just screams 1986-1987. Props to the keytar too.

This is mediocrity infused with enthusiasm.

As a teen I would go around record shops and I collected cds, cassettes, and records. One day I was with a friend and I thought i found a rare imported single of the song “ boys don’t cry”by the British band the Cure. When we finally got around to listening to the album later that day, I found out that I was very wrong. The track had pretty much 2 words in the entire song. The Cure My friend busted out laughing when he first heard this. I felt cheated out of my limited funds. It wasn’t funny to me then, but when I think of it now it is hilarious. This was probably in 1988 or 1989.

Where are ALL the Other Albums, I have 1986 and 1987, but I have looked Dammit!! Where are the 1990's Albums and 2000's ???

I have this, Hearts Bin, Cowboy and Who The Am all on 7 inch, just need to find all the other 7 inch singles, Don't Talk, Cities On Fire & We Got The Magic LOL, and both your albums need to come out on CD with bonus tracks by someone like Cherry Pop, I know Who The Am was released on CD in 87 but it's been OOP for like 30 years.

This is a new video from a band called NEW KILLER STARS, who are all 16 and this is their first release. Marlo, is the lead singer and he wrote the song. His father is the lead singer of the 80's band, Boys Don't Cry. The drummer, Paris, is the son of Pierce Brosnan and the video features Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford's beautiful mini-me daughter. They all go to school together and I think it looks like they are having a lot of fun! Good for them! Wishing them all the luck in the world.

This song should have been included on a really good 80s movie soundtrack. I can't believe the radio stations never hardly plays Boys Don't Cry, they have made so many great songs!
